As you probably know, I’ve been working with my publishing company to “reboot” my Village Life series of books. Over the summer we dropped A Village Romance, and then came Winter Blessings.

The third book in the series, The Village Feasts is coming out later this spring. Ten stories centered around the holiday of Passover. As one NetGalley reviewer wrote, “I read the book in one sitting and was laughing repeatedly throughout the stories.… Do you need to be Jewish to love these stories? No, you don't.”

Q: What’s with the pen name?
A: It’s a “branding” thing. The publishing world seems to think that writers need to be put in nice tidy boxes. So… Izzy Abrahmson is the pen name for this series.

Q: Why Izzy Abrahmson?
A: My Hebrew name is Isaac, and my father’s is Abraham, so…

Q: Why not Isaac Abrahamson?
A: Too many syllables.
